I finished this one a few weeks ago. It took me about 3-4 months total working off and on. Except for the 4-track trance section in the middle that was done live, this was mixed using Acid in 5-channel surround. The mp3 is a 2.0 PL-II downmix but I'm spreading around a few DVD copies that have the original discrete AC3 track as well as a very basic video track that displays the artists / track names as they change (but mostly a black screen so as not to be a distraction). The surround panning is subtle but effective. I mostly used it to make sure to get full volume in all the channels but there's also some environmental positioning going on in a few places. I won't post a track list (though it's in the cue sheet if you want to spoil the surprise), but I will say it's mostly a chill mix, with some trance in the middle and a couple of other deviations where it works. Some artists on here include Helios, Blu Mar Ten, Rabbit in the Moon, Spooky, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Psykosonik. Like I said, it's all over the place but flows really well.
I've posted the full quality, two hour, 171MB mp3. Right-click, save-as: MP3 CUE |
